Mark Bunning Photography is a gem of a shop tucked away just off the High Street on the Dereham Road. Mark started trading on the Thetford Road opposite the car park in 2011, then moved to the current location in 2017.
On start up of the business he focused on the photography side, and soon introduced printing, canvases, and framing. Over the years the business has evolved into the business it is today focusing on more than framing, printing and finishing of photos, artworks, people’s hobbies etc.
But hold on a moment! there is more to this business than you first expect, priority has always been to be customer driven, this means Mark has added lines and removed lines in line with what the community wants. Need a watch battery? simply pop in and see Mark, fitted while you wait. Not got a watch and would like one? they are on the shelf as well. Memory card run out? he has them too, along with rocket blowers, blower brushes, cloths, etc to keep cameras and lenses clean.
Off on your holidays? You’ve guessed it don’t leave without visiting Mark for that all important passport photo. Passport photos have always been popular and these are still done today, not in a booth but by a person who knows the rules, not just for UK passports but several of the other countries and visa application photos also. Need that digital code for the passport photo? he supplies the digital file for FREE! already sized to upload to the passport agency if you ask him, and the bonus is we don’t need to book an appointment for this. He also guarantees his photos to pass or retakes for FREE – what service!
Mark frames everything from a picture using a frame that’s off the shelf, through to some very bespoke frames to hold a variety of objects, he’s framed concert tickets, medals, t-shirts, football and rugby tops, car racing suits, boxing gloves, shorts, cross stitches, jigsaws, London poppies, posters, the list just keeps growing, ( no kitchen sink yet but you never know! ), and to set these off mounts are cut in a variety of colours. Mark even offers a choice of glass, so you the customer get the look you require at a price thats right. He also offers just a glass replacement service for when accidents happen and the glass breaks in your frame. What a busy man but so accommodating.
Canvas prints have always been a big hit especially near Christmas, they make an impressive present and last for years. Each canvas is printed in store and spray laminated, left to dry, then stretched over 38mm gallery stretcher bars, making it truly a quality canvas that will look good for years.
On the subject of gifts, have you seen the mugs he makes? he can scan your picture, artwork and reproduce it on a mug.There are also options to have pictures on key rings, mouse mats, small puzzles, coasters, place mats, bookmarks, clocks and some more items I’ve probably missed as the options are big, (and yes probably on that kitchen sink too!)
