Watton Rotary Club Charter Night Dinner
Watton & District Rotary Club held its 67th Charter Night Dinner, which celebrates the granting of our original charter in September 1954, at the Broom Hall Country Hotel, Saham Toney on 22 October.
Almost 50 Rotarians and Guests attended and enjoyed an excellent 3 course meal provided by the hotel staff, followed by tea or coffee and mints.
The guests were welcomed by our President Rotarian Paul Weatherill and his wife Christina, and included:
- Rotary District Governor Ian Elliott and his wife Jeanette.
- Past Rotary District Governor Jonathan King and Chris.
- President of the Inner Wheel Pauline Baldry and son Paul.
- Speakers Andrew and Gina Hilton – who gave an excellent talk with photographs of their 2 year long sailing journey around the world with their 2 daughters and 1 son plus their partners.
Our President’s wife Christina also kindly donated a hamper of beauty products which was won by Pam Challand.
The four principal lady guests also received bouquets, kindly arranged and wrapped by Jill Branson.
