What is a Men’s Shed?
A Men’s Shed is a friendly, lively, creative place where men can learn new skills, work on projects together or individually, enjoy each other’s company and share jokes, stories and maybe even some of the problems and challenges they are facing. In doing so, it can help to alleviate loneliness and isolation whilst contributing to better physical and mental health and wellbeing outcomes for those who participate. When we emerge from COVID, these benefits will be more valued – and more in demand – than ever!
What do we do?
As well as points covered above we enjoy a social cuppa with a chat, game playing, computer workshop and woodwork shop. Regular social evenings including cheese and wine night and quiz & chips nights as well as outings to places of interest and other events (partners and guests welcome to these)

When do we meet?
Our Social Room is open Mondays and Wednesdays 09:00 – 12:00
Our Computer & Wood/Metal Workshops are open Mondays and Thursdays 09:00 – 12:00
How much is the membership?
£25 annual membership and £2 per visit
