In this club we use this special award in recognition of particular and exemplary service to the club or the community.

We have great pleasure in awarding a Paul Harris fellowship to:

DAVID BRANSON
David (pictured above right with President Paul Weatherill) is a past President of this club. He has worked over a number of years, with the young people at the Wayland Academy, currently with a particular interest in environmental matters. He provides articles for the Wayland News and 1080 News and he has been our Welfare Officer for a number of years. More recently, he has followed on from Martin Anscombe, in the role of liaising with Peter Beale’s Roses in marketing the Rotary Sunrise Rose, each sale generating £1 paid to Rotary Foundation.

Dr. MICHAEL HARVEY
Mike (below right with President Paul Weatherill) has been President of the club twice, he has run the photographic competition for students at the Wayland Academy for a number of years. He has been the lead organiser in the “Dictionaries4Life” for local primary schools. He has taken on the programme organisation and he is responsible for producing the club members handbook every year.
