Well here we are heading towards the end of yet another year, where does the time go? Talking of time, I have over the past couple of weeks spoken to two people who have mentioned to me that they both know of retired gentlemen that find themselves with time to spare and not enough to keep themselves occupied, sometimes it’s difficult to persuade people that most of us here at “Wayland Men’s Shed” had the same problem.
We don’t pretend that we can be the answer to everyone prayers but we offer companionship and a shoulder to lean on if you are having a bad day, we have various activities within our Shed that might interest you, a Computer Group, Social Group, Photography Group, a Carpentry Workshop, a Music & Sea Shanty Singing Group, we have regular Coach Outings to places of interest, and evening events such as Quizzes & Cheese and wine Gatherings.
Members Wives are welcome to all our outings and events this gives everyone the chance to make new friends. So, gents why not give us a try, pop down on a Monday morning between 9 am and 12pm and have a coffee or Tea and a chat and find out more on what we have to offer, or give me a call on 01953 881004.
